Celebrating Teachers: A Heartfelt Thank You

In a world that often rushes past the everyday heroes, our educators stand tall, shaping the minds of tomorrow. At Dry Erase, we recently embarked on a journey of gratitude with our "Giving Thanks" campaign. A heartfelt initiative to honor and appreciate the incredible work of teachers, showcasing the profound impact teachers have and the genuine appreciation our company holds for these unsung heroes.

Our Giving Thanks campaign was a humble endeavor to shine a light on the educators who go above and beyond. We called on the community to nominate teachers deserving of recognition, and the response was nothing short of overwhelming. Your submissions flooded in, each one a testament to the profound impact teachers have on their students, schools, and communities.

Over 100 Stories of Appreciation!

To say we were touched by the responses would be an understatement. The sheer volume of over 100 submissions spoke volumes about the depth of appreciation for educators. It highlighted not only the vast number of lives touched by teachers but also the eagerness of communities to express their gratitude.

As we sifted through the submissions, we were moved by the countless stories of teachers who have left an indelible mark. From innovative teaching methods to unwavering dedication, the narratives painted a vivid picture of the incredible individuals shaping the future, one lesson at a time. It became clear that the impact of teachers extends far beyond the classroom, reaching into the hearts and minds of those they inspire. We thought we would share a few submissions:

Teacher Spotlight

Mr Spore

Mr. Spore is a dedicated teacher who fosters personal relationships with all his students, engages his students in active, relevant, and challenging lessons, and inspires his students to push themselves to their fullest potential.

This teacher is great because she puts her all into her students each day. Ms. Champion is passionate about education and loves teaching 2nd Grade. She taught all through cancer and chemo sessions because she didn’t want to interrupt her students’ school year. Ms. Champion is an amazing role model to teachers all around her and she is so loved by her little learners!

Mrs. Lopez is an incredible kindergarten teacher. She teaches with patience and kindness, but sets high expectations for her students. I don't think she realizes what an amazing educator she is for some of our youngest students!

Mr. Schuster
Mr. Schuster is the first teacher that made history come alive in a classroom when I took his class sophomore year. I don't know how he did it, but being in his history class felt like reading a historical fiction novel. I felt like I could put myself into the shoes of the people and civilizations that we were learning about-what they were feeling, what they were thinking, what their struggles and victories were. Alex Schuster is a dedicated teacher and coach who not only is an expert in his field of history, but also in his field as a teacher who's dedicated to making the school a better place for students and teachers alike. I'm so thankful for everything he's done for me, my family, and my peers.

Ms.Boggs is great because she teaches in an amazing way. Every day she makes sure that we comprehend what she is teaching us. She always makes an effort in the way that she teaches. I truly think that this teacher should be nominated because she is an amazing person.

\"Mrs. Vergara is always attentive to every child’s needs. She goes above and beyond to help the school community feel welcomed, cared for and appreciated. When teaching she is able to make a special connection with each child to the point that they feel seen and heard.

Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and our Giving Thanks campaign is a small token of our immense appreciation.
